Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum: the necessary ones make sign-in and your choices work; analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them, and only on our marketing pages.
01The three categories
- Necessary: sign-in, security and remembering your cookie choice. They are always on because the site can't work without them.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics tells us which pages are read and how people find ManyMenu, so we can improve it. No ads.
- Marketing (optional): the Meta Pixel measures how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform.
Optional tools are not loaded at all until you accept them. If you turn a category off later, its cookies are deleted and the page reloads without them.
02Cookies we use
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mm_session | Necessary | Keeps you signed in to your account (signed, not readable by scripts) | 30 days |
| mm_claim | Necessary | Links a demo menu you made before signing up to your new account | 7 days |
| mm_consent | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Analytics | Google Analytics: distinguishes visits to measure the site | Up to 2 years |
| _fbp | Marketing | Meta Pixel: measures our ads | 3 months |
Analytics and marketing tools are only active when they are configured on our side and you accepted them.
03Storage that isn't a cookie
- On our marketing pages, the request-access form remembers in your tab's session storage how you arrived (campaign tags, previous website, first page). It is sent only if you submit the form and disappears when you close the tab.
- On menus published with ManyMenu, a random visit id is kept in the tab's session storage to count visits without cookies. It holds no personal data and disappears when the tab is closed.
04Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page (or the one below) to accept or refuse each category at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; you will then be asked again.
Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which we ask again.
