Let the queue read the menu before it reaches the window
With a QR sticker on the side of the truck, a digital menu lets the queue read your board on their own phones while they wait. It travels with you: the same code works at the Saturday market, the festival and the office car park, and the same link goes out with today's spot on Instagram or WhatsApp. People who have read the menu arrive knowing what they want, so the window is for taking orders, not explaining the sauce. One photo of your chalkboard is enough for ManyMenu to build the menu with your colors and logo, and a sold-out shake takes two taps to mark.

What changes for you
- 1
A sticker the queue can scan
Put the QR code on the truck at eye level, next to the window and where the line ends. People scan, choose and reach you with their order ready, which keeps the line moving at the busiest hour.
- 2
Sold out, shown at once
When the onion rings run out or the shake machine gives up, mark them sold out from your phone between two orders. The queue sees it before reaching the window, and you stop apologizing forty times.
- 3
Festival prices, then back
Raise prices for a three-day festival and put them back on Monday, two taps per item, with no new board and no new stickers. A short menu of eight or ten items is quick to keep right.
- 4
Readable on mobile data
There is no Wi-Fi in a car park, and TEAM LEWIS found in 2024 that 28% of diners complain menus load slowly. ManyMenu opens in the phone's browser as a web page: no app to install, no PDF to download.
From paper to live, in three steps
- 1
Snap the board
One photo of the chalkboard or printed board on the truck, taken from your phone. The AI reads every item, size and price, handwriting included.
- 2
Check before service
Go through the lines in the control room, add labels such as spicy or vegan, and publish once it matches the board.
- 3
Sticker, story, WhatsApp
Have the QR code printed as a weatherproof sticker for the truck, and post the link with today's location in your Instagram story or WhatsApp status.
Questions
My truck parks somewhere new every day. Does the QR code still work?
Yes. The code points to your menu, not to a place, so the same sticker works wherever you park. Update the address and hours shown on the menu, then post today's spot with the link.
Can I run a different menu at a festival?
Yes. Edit the menu for the event, prices included, and switch it back afterwards. On a plan with several menus, you can also keep a separate festival menu with its own QR code.
How short should a food truck menu be?
Short enough to read while the line moves a few places. Five or six mains, a few sides and drinks is a common shape, and it is quicker to keep current when something sells out.
