Your tajines and pastillas, explained in your guests' language
A digital menu for a Moroccan restaurant puts your whole carte on the guest's phone through a QR code, in the language they read, with a photo and a short line for each dish. Morocco welcomed a record 19.8 million tourists in 2025, according to the Ministry of Tourism, and many of them sit in front of words like rfissa, tanjia or seffa with no idea what will arrive. Questions
Will the translation turn my tajine into a 'stew'?
No. Names that should not be translated keep their form in every language: a tajine stays a tajine, harira stays harira. Only the description underneath is translated, so the guest understands the dish without losing its name.
Which languages should a restaurant in Marrakech offer?
Start with French, Arabic and English, then let the data decide. Insights compare the languages guests choose with the languages of their phones, and show the ones you do not offer yet.
I run a riad restaurant with a fixed dinner menu. Does it fit?
Yes. Create a category for the dinner menu, list each course with its description and a single price, and add the riad's hours and phone number. Guests read it from the terrace or their room through the QR code.
How do I handle the ftour menu during Ramadan?
Add a Ftour category at the top, feature it and change your opening hours for the month. The QR codes on the tables stay the same; after Eid, remove the category and your usual carte is back.
